Terms of Service

ARJ Labs LLC Last updated: September 24, 2026.

These terms apply to arjlabs.com and to the website services we sell. When you buy a project you also get a written estimate, and for larger work a written client agreement. If either conflicts with these terms, that document wins.

The short version

The rest of this page is the detail behind those lines.

1. Who we are

ARJ Labs LLC, a New Hampshire limited liability company, 9 Clearwater Dr, Dover, NH 03820. Email alex@arjlabs.com, phone 603-978-1994.

2. Accepting these terms

By using this site, or by buying a service from us, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing for a business, you confirm you are allowed to agree for that business. If you do not agree, do not use the site or buy the service.

You accept by ticking the acceptance box where one is shown, or by using the site. Either way you are agreeing, and we keep a record of what you accepted and when.

3. What this site is

This site describes what we do, shows our work, and lets you start a conversation or request a build. Descriptions on marketing pages are summaries. The binding scope of your project is the written estimate or client agreement.

4. The free website audit

The audit is a static check. It fetches files your site already publishes and reports what it finds.

5. What you get

5.1 Launch, $300 one-time. Live within 7 calendar days of payment under the guarantee in section 10, subject to documented customer-delay pauses.

Launch and the Engine covers up to 3 pages. Larger builds are Custom, see section 7.

5.2 The Engine, $299 per month.

5.3 Managed means managed by people. We do not run your Google Business Profile on autopilot through an API.

5.4 Optional add-on modules. These are optional add-ons, scoped and priced separately in your written estimate: extra blog posts beyond the one monthly, a Quarterly AI Business Audit, the AI Receptionist, booking and checkout plugins, multi-location pages, and a brand film.

5.5 Modules are added as you need them, never on autopilot. Anything not listed in your written estimate is out of scope until we agree it in writing.

5.6 Booking and checkout plugins use your own payment account. Where we add a checkout to your site, the money moves through your Stripe account, not ours. You are the merchant.

6. What it costs, and the two numbers that do not change

Amount
Launch, one-time$300
The Engine, monthly$299

$300 and $299 do not change. If we raise prices for new clients, your numbers stay where they are. You are not moved onto a new price for the same package.

7. Custom work

Custom is for larger builds and custom flows, quoted after we read your brief. Custom scope, price and timeline are agreed in writing before any work starts.

8. How buying works

Before payment, we agree the written scope, collect the content, business details and access required to build and launch, and explain the launch guarantee and recurring Engine charges. Do not send passwords or payment-card details by email; we arrange access securely. Custom projects receive a separate written price and delivery schedule.

Submitting a build request is not a purchase and does not authorize a charge. When checkout is available for your accepted scope, payment is made on Stripe's hosted checkout. We confirm your payment time and launch deadline in writing. The Engine begins only when your approved site is verified live.

9. The Engine subscription: renewal and cancellation

9.1 Monthly billing. The Engine costs $299 per month, starts when your approved site is verified live, and renews automatically each month until cancelled. Before subscribing, you receive the price, billing interval and cancellation instructions and expressly consent to recurring billing.

9.2 Cancel anytime. There is no minimum term, no minimum number of payments, no extra notice period and no cancellation fee. You may request cancellation at any time by emailing alex@arjlabs.com. We confirm the request and effective date in writing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid monthly period; we do not charge for another period after receiving your cancellation request. A renewal charged after a timely cancellation request will be refunded.

9.3 Before launch. You may cancel before launch and the Engine will not start or charge you. Treatment of the launch fee is described in section 10.

9.4 Service and handover. Hosting and included services continue until the end of the paid monthly period. We provide your site files and coordinate transfer of your domain and accounts before that date. If you cancel too close to that date for us to complete the handover, we keep hosting active without an additional Engine charge until we provide the export and transfer instructions. We do not retain your domain or files as leverage. Arrange replacement hosting to keep the site online after our hosting ends. Third-party transfer restrictions may affect when a domain transfer completes.

9.5 Refunds and payment failures. Used or partially used monthly periods are not prorated or refunded solely because you cancel, except where required by law. We correct billing errors. If a payment fails, we notify you and may suspend service if it remains unpaid. Cancellation does not erase legitimate charges already due.

9.6 First charge and changes. If a payment method is saved before launch, we email the amount and date before the first Engine charge. We notify you of material billing changes before they apply; you may cancel rather than accept them.

10. The 7-day launch guarantee and refunds

10.1 What is guaranteed. For the standard $300 Launch & Engine site of up to three agreed pages, your approved website will be live within seven calendar days of successful launch-fee payment. The clock runs from the payment timestamp, not from a later kickoff call. Before checkout, we agree the scope and collect the content, business details, domain access and other access needed to deliver it. We confirm the deadline in writing.

10.2 What “live” means. The agreed website is publicly accessible on the agreed domain over HTTPS, works on mobile and desktop, and has its agreed core pages and contact functionality tested. You approve publication before launch; silence is not approval. Google Business Profile verification, search indexing, rankings, traffic and sales are not launch conditions or guaranteed outcomes. Custom builds have their own written schedule and are not covered by this standard-site deadline.

10.3 Documented customer delays. The clock pauses only when delivery is blocked by you, such as a requested scope change, revoked or unusable access, missing promised materials, or an approval we are waiting for. We notify you in writing of the blocker, when the pause begins, what is needed and, when it is resolved, the revised deadline. A pause is not an automatic extra seven days. Our workload or internal delays do not pause the clock. Other delays do not silently extend the deadline: any new delivery date requires your written agreement.

10.4 If we miss the deadline. If the site is not live by the deadline after documented customer-delay pauses, you choose either (a) a full refund of the $300 launch fee and cancellation of the build, with no site delivered and no Engine subscription started, or (b) a new delivery date agreed by both sides in writing. We do not choose for you, substitute account credit, or impose an extension. If the agreed revised deadline is missed, the same choice applies again.

10.5 How to exercise the guarantee. Email alex@arjlabs.com with your choice. We acknowledge the missed deadline and arrange the refund to the original payment method or record the new deadline. Your bank or payment provider controls when a processed refund appears. A refund cancels delivery of the unfinished build; it does not transfer ownership of our unfinished work, but your original content, domain and accounts remain yours.

10.6 The 7-day refund window. You may request a full refund of the $300 launch fee within seven calendar days of successful launch-fee payment, regardless of whether the site has launched or we have missed a delivery deadline. Email alex@arjlabs.com to request it. The window runs from the payment timestamp and is separate from the launch guarantee and its documented customer-delay pauses. We return the launch fee to the original payment method. After this window, the missed-deadline remedy in section 10.4, billing-error corrections and rights required by law still apply. Engine billing never begins for an unlaunched site. After launch, Engine cancellation and monthly-fee refunds follow section 9. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. What you own

You own your domain, your content, your photos, and your site files, including the built files of your website. You can take the delivered site files and leave at any time; paid Engine service ends as described in section 9. A refunded, unfinished build is handled under section 10.5.

We own our systems, templates, tooling, internal code, and the methods we use. We may show the finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.

12. What we do not promise

We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads, bookings, occupancy, or revenue. Anyone who promises you a number one ranking is over-selling their service.

What we do instead is review the work every month, with a plain-English report, and tell you honestly what moved and what did not. Where we show a number, it comes from your own Search Console and Google Business Profile, not a dashboard we control. Where we publish a result, it will be dated and based on evidence, never invented.

13. What this package is not

It is not social media management. It is not paid advertising. It is not a guaranteed number one ranking. It is not a locked-in contract: cancel the Engine anytime at the end of your paid monthly period and take your site with you.

14. Your promises to us

You confirm that:

15. Acceptable use

Do not use our sites to break the law, to attack or overload our systems or anyone else's, to submit addresses you have no right to check, to scrape our content, or to misrepresent yourself as us. We may block access that threatens the site or other people.

16. Third-party services and links

Our work depends on third parties, including your domain registrar, Cloudflare for hosting, Google, and your payment provider. We are not responsible for their outages, their policy changes, or their decisions. Links from our site to other businesses are not endorsements, and their terms and privacy practices are their own.

17. Our content

The text, design, images and code of this site belong to ARJ Labs LLC. Do not copy or republish them without written permission. Client work appears with the client's approval.

18. Availability

We aim to keep this site and client sites available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may take systems down for maintenance, and hosting providers have outages we do not control.

19. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

If a client agreement states a different cap, that cap controls for that client.

Under New Hampshire law, a business using this site or buying our services is bound by this limitation even without a signature, because you accepted these terms by using the site or by ticking the acceptance box.

20. Indemnification

You agree to cover us for claims that arise from content or instructions you gave us, from your use of our services in breach of these terms, or from your own business operations.

21. Ending the arrangement

You can cancel as described in section 9. We can end the arrangement on written notice if you materially breach these terms, if payment fails and stays unpaid, or if continuing would be unlawful. On ending, you keep what you own, we hand over your site files as described in section 9.4, and you owe only for work already performed.

22. Governing law and disputes

New Hampshire law governs these terms. Before filing anything, talk to us first in writing. Send a description of the problem and what you want. We commit to answering within 14 days and to working in good faith to resolve it. If that fails, the dispute belongs in the state or federal courts located in New Hampshire, and both sides accept those courts.

23. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are posted with a new effective date, and we email active clients. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. Changes never apply retroactively to reduce rights you already have under a signed estimate or client agreement.

24. General

If one part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms plus your written estimate or client agreement are the whole agreement between us on this subject. You may not transfer these terms without our written consent.
